Florida businesses now can instantly receive e-mail and cell phone alerts from law enforcement officials on possible domestic security-related threats that could affect business and the community. Florida Department of Law Enforcement officials announced the counter-terrorism program, called BusinesSafe, in partnership with statewide regional security task forces and businesses. The free, Web-Based initiative is accessible to businesses of all types and sizes who sign-up by visiting www.fdle.state.fl.us/BSafe/. Chamber Committees


Committees are a vital element of Chamber operations. 

Our Committees are:

Ambassadors - The Ambassador Committee is a group of talented, energized, and highly motivated ladies and gentlemen who are committed to the growth and development of the Chamber. Overall, the committee is responsible for the warm welcoming of guests and members and facilitating introductions. Chair: Connie Carberg e-mail
 
Special Events - This committee develops and promote the special programs that the Chamber holds each year. These programs include The Cover Bridge Awards and the Diamond Awards. e-mail
 
Education - This group consists of dozens of Chamber members who are interested in and supportive of, advancing our education and work force development future in greater Coral Springs.

Governmental Affairs - This important Chamber group reviews and develops public policy positions that are "pro-business." Research is involved, as is meetings with elected officials and experts on various topics as the Chambers’ positions are developed and then communicated and lobbied. Chair: James Miller, email
 
Leadership Coral Springs - This 10 - month program develops and unites diverse and emerging business and community leaders. Spring is the application period, and the training and events extend from September through June. Chair: Gemma Pressinger, e-mail
