Eddie Adair
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas as the son of a real estate mom and dad that went to law school at the age of 40 as he worked as an engineer during the day. We were taught to work hard from an early age and to always appreciate how great life is on a daily basis. I began working as a paper boy for the Houston Chronicle in 4th grade and picked up a 2nd route in 6th grade to increase my earnings until the point I could be legally hired as a Doorman at the Marriott Astrodome in Houston in 1976. I was promoted to Bellman within 6 months and finally became the Valet Driver/Chauffer for our VIP clients. I worked my entire college career with a liquor store in Austin, TX  and worked stocking shelves, retail cashier, driver and in the warehouse preparing the other drivers for the dayís deliveries. I played college tennis and gained my black belt in karate while continuing my education at the University of Texas as a prelaw student. Once I graduated, I decided to hold off on law school in order to get some income and have a fully self sufficient life. I made a call to my ex boss from Marriott and asked if there were any management spots for a young college grad with two degrees from a major university. Two days later I was in Dallas, TX starting as a Guest Service Representative at the Dallas Quorum Marriott. In 1984 I  was promoted into management as a Housekeeping Manager in order to take advantage of four years of Spanish studies in college and to help a hotel that was lacking in leadership and cleanliness. As of 6/7/2011, I have been a manager with Marriott at 15 different hotels in several areas of the United States and the Caribbean as well as opened the Marriott in Santiago, Chile. This ďfamily of MarriottĒ have taught me a lot of lessons in life and how to treat associates, managers, guests and people with different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I have won a multitude of awards for the work I and my team have accomplished over the years and have been privileged to work with Mr. Marriott and two of his sons at different points in my career. Success is never complete in my world and I always strive to get better on a daily basis! I have been married for the past 18 years to Alpana Verma, who was born in India and moved to the United States when she was only 12 years old. She too is a hard worker with a passion to be the best and a zest for life. We have two boys ages 12 & 14 and they are very excited to be living in South Florida, although they are working hard to get their bodies in shape in order to visit South Beach. My oldest son will be attending Pompano Beach High School in their magnet program that he applied for at the first of the year with a focus on becoming the next Spielberg in the movie business. My younger son will attend public school here in the area and looks forward to meeting new friends and getting involved with soccer, tennis and golf. I have most recently served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association and for the last three years was part of the Board that traveled to Springfield, IL to meeting with the State Senators and lobby for the IHLA. I also was the leader of the team that worked with a charity called Back on My Feet that raised the single highest donation in the history of the organization. We kicked of the Chicago chapter of BOMF at 5am with a mile run with some homeless individuals that needed help getting back on their feet and back into full employment once they complete a running program over a course of 9 months. I presented a $100,000 check to the CEO of BOMF last year at the Marriott Chicago Downtown and helped mentor three individuals back into the work force. I am very excited to increase my involvement in the community and I look forward to working with various members of the Chamber and the community of Coral Springs.

Debbie Dendinger

I would consider it an honor and a pleasure to serve on the Board for the CS Chamber. I have been an active member for many years and have enjoyed every minute of it! I have served on the Ambassador Committee as well as held a position in the Thursday Afternoon Referral Group for the past several years.
I bring very strong leadership skills to the table having built a very successful organization of my own of over 500 individuals that continues to grow daily.
I have excellent presentation skills having traveled and spoken to many large groups around the country.
I was an active member of the Broward County Schools Nutrition Committee for 6 years and helped introduce them to programs that they in turn implemented in our schools.
My passion is to help others succeed by giving them tools and encouragement to grow into leadership positions.
The chamber has given so much to me and I would be honored to give back to the chamber in the way of my time and expertise.

Yours in success!

Mark Fenton
My name is Mark Fenton and I am the Managing Partner of Bonefish Grill in Coral Springs. I am honored that I was nominated to be a part of the board.  I have been an active trustee member for almost a year and a half. I have hosted many luncheons for the Chamber, and also donated countless gift certificates to chamber members. I feel I would be an asset to the board because I would be the only restaurant owner serving. Since my arrival in Coral Springs, this Bonefish location has been more successful than in its previous seven years. My voice would be great for restaurants in Coral Springs.

Chip King
I have been a member of the Coral Springs Chamber since I started my business in 2004. I currently serve on the ambassador committee, which I thoroughly enjoy. Itís a pleasure meeting our new members and I really look forward every month for the Ambassador Prize Patrol;  it gives me an opportunity to share my positive Chamber experiences with other members.  I am fortunate enough to be able to donate my time to assist the Chamber with the toy drive, gala set up, tradeshows and anything else that the Chamber needs. Believe it or not most people think Iím a very outgoing person, however I am really very shy. Joining the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce and participating as an active ambassador has really changed me. I meet so many people, grew my business and increased my confidence all because of my involvement in the Chamber. Now in turn Iíd like to pay it forward and share that message with the many new businesses that join the Chamber.  My passion and belief in the Chamber is the true reason why Iíd like to serve on the Board of Directors.

Cindi Watts
Six years ago as a resident of Coral Springs and a Business Developer for a large organization serving all Broward County, I joined the CS Chamber and pursued my goals with great zeal through the many opportunities offered by our Chamber. I focused intense involvements and initiatives with the Education and Ambassador Committees where I felt I could make the most impact with my skills. My contributions also included serving as an active board member of our Chamber and that means a dedicated responsibility to the stability, growth and quality of our Chamber.  Being involved in the inception of the Professional Womenís Alliance was a strong personal interest that has been a source of inspiration and enjoyment for many women (and some men too). I believe my participation over the years have contributed towards a successful Chamber with valued partnerships within our membership as well as our community. I am proud of my many volunteer and leadership accomplishments that have fulfilled the mission and vision of our pre-eminent business organization. I am eager to continue building on our vision in the coming years, if elected again to the Coral Springs Chamber Board of Directors.
