Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce

Cindy Brief has been the President of the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce since
2006, and during the past 5 years has led the Chamber to new heights, most significantly,
steering the Coral Springs Chamber to become the first certified Chamber of Commerce
with the FACP (Florida Association of Chamber Professionals) in Broward County.
In 2011, Cindy achieved the designation of IOM from the U.S. Chamber Institute of
Organizational Management. Cindy’s leadership was the driving force behind the
Chamber’s new PWA program (Professional Women’s Alliance), which brings
professional women together for networking, education and inspiring speakers at
bi-monthly luncheons. Additionally, the Coral Springs Chamber has an active
and effective Government Affairs Committee tasked with advocating for the Chamber’s
members with the City of Coral Springs, Broward County and the state of Florida.
Cindy Brief is past-chair of the Broward Council of Chambers of Commerce, a member of
the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, obtained her B.S. in accounting from Brooklyn College in
1985 and in 1988, earned her CPA in New York. Cindy graduated from the U.S. Chamber
Institute of Organizational Management’s four year program in June of 2011 and
continues in her efforts to make the Coral Springs Chamber one of the most successful
Chambers’ in Broward County.

Denison Davis, Membership Sale Representative

Denison Davis has a diverse background having worked in government, higher education
and the private sector. Prior to joining the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce, Denison
worked at Broward College as a Career Counselor and Facilitator. Denison has experience
in recruiting and as an account executive for an online recruitment agency. Denison holds a
M.I.B.A from Nova Southeastern University. Denison has been a resident of Coral Springs
for ten years.

Kim Mena, Program Administrator

Kimberly Mena is a New York native originally from the Rockland County/Westchester area. She moved to
Florida in December of 2012 after her graduation from the University of Buffalo with a BS in Psychology. While
earning her degree she worked as a Research Assistant at the Interpersonal Processes Lab for over 2 years
and was an active member of Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society. Kim also served for 6 years
in the United States Marine Corps as an Aviation Supply Specialist and has spent time overseas and stateside
in MS, FL, CA, SC, NY, and NC. The day after completing her military contract, Kimberly joined the Chamber in
May of 2013.
