CS Chamber Education Foundation

The Chamber of Commerce of Coral Springs, and the Chamberís Education Committee, is offering five Bridge to Leadership Entrepreneur Awards.  One award will be presented to a graduating senior, one from each of the fiveCoral Springs high schools.  The award will include a scholarship in the amount of $1,000. 

Each school should submit at least four applicants. Three candidates selected from each school will become finalists and complete a final interview process.  Candidates should complete the following information and submit it to the chamber office no later than 5:00 pm, Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

SELECTION CRITERIA: 

Primary consideration will be given to students who demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and pursuits. This will be supplemented by completion of the other requirements and the applicantís overall application.  Awards will be made without regard to race, creed, color, sex, religion, or national origin.

The applicant must:
-          Be a high school senior currently enrolled in Coral Springs High, Taravella High, Stoneman Douglas High, Coral Glades High,
           or the Coral Springs Charter School
-          Plan to attend a regionally  accredited, nonprofit two- or four-year university, college or vocational/technical institute for the
            full 2012-2013 academic year

-          Be a U.S.citizen or resident alien

 The top three applicants from each school will be determined by a panel using the written applications.  Those three finalists will undergo an interview process and the winning student will be selected.
