Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce
Cindy Brief has been the President of the Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce since 2006, and during the past 9 years has led the Chamber to new heights, most significantly, steering the Coral Springs Regional Chamber to become the first certified Chamber of Commerce with the FACP (Florida Association of Chamber Professionals) in Broward County.
In 2011, Cindy achieved the designation of IOM from the U.S. Chamber Institute of Organizational Management. Cindy’s leadership was the driving force behind the Chamber’s new PWA program (Professional Women’s Alliance), which brings professional women together for networking, education and inspiring speakers at bi-monthly luncheons. Additionally, the Coral Springs Regional Chamber has an active and effective Government Affairs Committee tasked with advocating for the Chamber’s members with the City of Coral Springs, Broward County and the state of Florida.
Cindy Brief is past-chair of the Broward Council of Chambers of Commerce, a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, obtained her B.S. in accounting from Brooklyn College in 1985 and in 1988, earned her CPA in New York. Cindy graduated from the U.S. Chamber Institute of Organizational Management’s four year program in June of 2011 and continues in her efforts to make the Coral Springs Chamber one of the most successful Chambers’ in Broward County.
Amanda has been a resident of Coral Springs since 1992. She graduated from Stoneman Douglas High School in 2001 and attended the Florida Culinary Institute where she studied international baking and pastries, culinary arts, and restaurant management. Following her graduation, Amanda worked in the restaurant industry for over eight years but decided to change careers and return to school after having her daughter. Amanda earned a B.A. in Business Finance and Accounting from the University of Phoenix and worked in finance and bookkeeping in the construction industry for five years before joining the Chamber in 2012.
Gulie Carrington graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2014 with a B.A in Interpersonal/Organizational Communications and a minor in Marketing. Her experience is diverse as she works with electronic, print, and mass media marketing and advertising, and she is looking to grow more in each field. Gulie has lived in the City of Coral Springs since 1998, and has attended its top-notch public schools, and taken part in a myriad of the city’s offerings for young people such as the youth sports programs, plays at the Center for the Arts, and events in Downtown Coral Springs such as the Art Walk. Gulie’s creation of countless presentations has contributed to her successes in the field of marketing and communications related work. Gulie joined the chamber as Communications Coordinator in November 2016.

My name is Teresa and I am ecstatic to be a part of the Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce. I am from southern Italy; I enjoy the simple things in life, spending time with my family, connecting with my family on Skype. I love to travel and eat! I moved to Florida in 1980 from Brooklyn, NY. I have been a resident of Coral Springs since 1988 where I raised my 2 children. I attended Kingsborough College with Liberal Arts major. I worked in a Finance Department as a bookkeeper for the past 21 years before joining the Chamber in July 2014.
